I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support of Uni Blues in 2009 and in particular of our new Parents' and Supporters' groups, the Blue Bloods and Blues Barons, and to wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and successful 2010. It has been so pleasing to see the support for these concepts grow throughout the year and to receive lots of positive feedback. Thank you.
To launch the Uni Blues Supporters' community into 2010 I'm excited to announce the inaugural Blue Bloods' Masters Golf event on Saturday 13 February, 2010 at the 13th Beach Golf Club, Barwon Heads. Entry to the Blue Bloods Masters is open to all Uni Blues Past Players, Parents and Supporters of all golfing abilities. We currently have tee times for 24 golfers, so please get in quickly to ensure your spot in the Masters.
The Masters will coincide with the pre-season football camp taking place in Torquay on the same weekend. Following the golf and crowning of the Masters Champion, all golfers are encouraged to make their way out to the camp and join the players and coaches for some refreshments. I see this as a fantastic opportunity for our entire club to get together early in the season of what promises to be a big 2010 for Uni Blues FC.
